Ideal for woodwork, metal work and getting messy with all manner of materials. It offers a large space, 72ms sq for all kinds of creativity, it has storage for makers’ equipment, good natural light, a large extractor to keep the air ventilated, opening windows, and a host of machinery and tools from clamps and glue guns to a bandsaw and angle grinder.

Available to hire: This space is available to hire every weekday between 8am and 10pm. Before using this space and its equipment we’ll provide an induction to the space. Lone workers will also need to read and sign a lone working policy. Occasional weekend activity will be considered.  Contact us using the form below to check our availability.

Recommended use: This spacious multi-use studio offers a space for both makers and musicians to enjoy. This room can accommodate puppet making and structures, rehearsal space, meetings and break out space, R&D,  and other types of activities. Contact us with your ideas. Due to the specialist equipment in this space, no one under the age of 16 should be unsupervised and we don’t recommend it for movement and exercise or young people’s activities.

Other services available: This room makes an excellent break out space for activities going on with larger groups in other spaces. So far it has been used for music rehearsals, small performances, workshops, and visual arts activities. Come and put your stamp on it too.
