A family friendly venue from intimate to grand celebrations . We can host birthday parties, hen dos, Christening parties or even a fundraising gig or dinner. Consider holding your celebration at The Vale and you’ll have a shindig to remember. And don’t forget: we have a whole host of additions to make your events that extra bit special. Maybe one of our resident puppets  could make a surprise appearance, our dancers could lead your guests in a special dance class, choreographed just for you. If you’ve got some creative ideas, send them our way and we’ll put our party hat laden heads together!

We have a host of local groups who call The Vale home, if you’re looking for regular bookings you could consider a membership to get a reduced price community rate on your regular bookings.

You may have noticed that The Vale has a state of the art projector ready to go… and you can hire it, too! Gather your closest friends for a birthday film screening, invite your business colleagues to a launch of your next big advert, bring together community groups for a night of inspiring cinematic action. Whatever your reason, get in touch and we can make it happen. And yes, we do have a popcorn machine!

Celebrate your wedding or civil partnership with a night to remember in our Theatre. Our fully licensed bar, unique venue and friendly team will ensure you make lifelong memories with your guests.

Our typical wedding reception is from 4pm-11.30pm, with 4 hours set-up the day before and 2 hours set-down time the day after.

Enjoy the fully stocked bar, we stock our brilliant neighbours, Millstone Brewery’s beers, and can even order any speciality drinks you want to add the icing on the cake to your day.
