Ticketed evening gigs:
**All daytime activities are free for everyone. If you are able to make a small donation to help us continue to provide arts activities in Tameside, we would greatly appreciate your generosity. Some activities will require a booking in advance to help us monitor numbers and keep everyone safe**

About The Vale
Whether you’re a professional Carnival artist looking to develop your practice at our Northern Carnival Centre for Excellence, or a passionate purveyor of the arts in your spare time, The Vale is the perfect place to call home.
Based in Mossley, in the foothills of the Peak District, The Vale is a former textile mill converted to a state-of-the-art venue for all kinds of artistic, creative and Carnival happenings.
Who are we?
The Vale is home to and managed by Carnival arts organisation, Global Grooves. Founded by three percussion artists who all grew up in community music projects, our directors Leon, Holly, and Eraldo have pushed forward the growth of the organisation and scale of ambition alongside dozens of talented artists.
In The Vale, we’ve realised our dream – a perfectly-tailored environment where people can come together to celebrate, share, and develop skills, in whichever way appeals to them most.
We profoundly hope to leave a legacy of talented people to steward, protect, and grow the art forms we love. The launch is just the very beginning, and we’re so pleased you’re here with us.
