Somebody’s Sister, Somebody’s Daughter

GW Theatre Company is a nationally acclaimed theatre company based right here in Mossley. This current production has been seen by over 25,000 people and is touring again nationally this autumn. GW will be working in partnership with The Vale and other leading theatre companies and practitioners to develop an exciting programme for our theatre space. ‘Somebody’s Sister, Somebody’s Daughter’ goes behind the front page mug-shots to the human stories of three young people: Chloe, the 15 year old girl from an ordinary family, who is caught up in the web of a vicious grooming gang.
GW Theatre Co and Sony Award winning script writer/director Mike Harris, have been producing powerful, thought provoking, issue-based dramas for young people for twenty years, working in collaboration with young people, families and most major social agencies
