Welcome to OUR SPACE!
Calling all gardeners, would be gardeners, nature lovers and volunteers!
Come and get involved with our exciting spring/summer programme at The Vale. The Vale outdoor space is getting some much-anticipated tender loving care. To get the ball rolling we would love you to join us on our first Our Space volunteering morning on Friday, April 1st
The aim is to create a wild garden, using permaculture gardening techniques to make Our Space eco-friendly, fit for all Mossley birds, bees and everything in-between.
Phase one is to change a small patch of land into a relaxing space for all. In this first session we’ll learn how to mark out and lay a soft path, create a small raised bed using recycled materials and learn about key ideas in permaculture. Expect to get a bit muddy, we’ll provide gloves and basic equipment. You choose how much and what to do and how much tea to drink.
Why should I sign up?
It will be fun!
enjoy a healthy outdoor activity

It will add ‘sparkle’ to your CV!
