Join Grupo Lokito for a dance workshop with the live band. Iddo Donnatella, singer and dancer with the band, will guide you through the basics of Congolese dance, with its distinctive hip movements. They will then teach you some of the classic Congolese dance moves and share some of Grupo Lokito’s own inventions. The perfect warm up before dancing the night away at their performance later in the evening.

All levels welcome. We want this to be accessible for all, if you have any access requirements please contact The Vale to let a member of the team know prior to the event.

Tickets for the dance workshop are £7.50. A combined workshop and gig ticket are available on the Grupo Lokito event page. There are also a limited number of ‘donate what you can’ tickets available on a first come first served basis. We respect our audience’s privacy to choose the right ticket for their financial circumstances, no evidence required.

Ages 12+ with an adult, 14+ unaccompanied for workshop only (please note the gig is 14+ with an adult.)
