Join us for an afternoon of film and food, remembering George whilst watching one of his favourite movies, Back to the future, and raising funds for George’s Den.
About George’s Den – a safe, indoor space for the youth of Mossley to socialise and be themselves. The foundations built on our cherished memories of George, a much loved 13-year old, who tragically lost his short battle with T-Cell Lymphoma a week before his 14th birthday. George’s vibrancy, authenticity and kindness are all driving our plans and helping us begin to develop our concept of George’s Den…because being a teenager is hard enough.
All procededs from this event will be donated to George’s Den.
About the film
Back To The Future – Marty McFly, a typical American teenager of the Eighties, is accidentally sent back to 1955 in a plutonium-powered DeLorean “time machine” invented by a slightly mad scientist. During his often hysterical, always amazing trip back in time, Marty must make certain his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love – so he can get back to the future.
Event: 2pm – 5pm | £7.50/£5
Year: 1985 (or is it?)
