Creative Career Courses, this January at The Vale

We’re proud to be hosting two brand new creative courses starting in January 2021. Two of our resident organisations, Bangdrum CIC and Cabasa Canrival Arts, have been successful in receiving funding from the European Social Fund to deliver these free courses for Greater Manchester residents who are currently unemployed.* Both are aimed at giving you the skills and confidence you need to get back into employment or begin a creative career.

Each course will feature a mixture of face-to-face and digital sessions. Numbers are limited to allow for social distancing, so apply today to secure your place!

Handy People! from Bangdrum CIC

Professional artist and local handy man, Mike Green, will guide you through the basics of working with wood and creative DIY including safety tutorials and repair work. You will gain hands-on skills leading you to upcycle and breathe new life to used and old furniture. You’ll also take part in creative confidence builders, one-to-one sessions to support your personal development, and take you through what it means to be self-employed.
